Glad to be a part of Heartland Arts

I'm glad to be in on Heartland Arts while it is starting to build up and take off. If you check out my photos you will see a wide range of subjects. Ice covered trees to models, weddings, senior photos, and more. I have worked as a newspaper photographer, taught photography, helped to start two photo clubs in Southern Illinois, and owned a studio. I hope all enjoy the photos that I have posted. My love is freelance. What I see at the time. Today I was in Southern Illinois and went by Washington County Lake. I came across all these geese sitting on the frozen lake. I will have to get those pictures posted here soon. It was breath taken to get up close to try and take what pictures I could. I also capture the sun coming through the bare trees and shining on the ice of the lake. Then on the lake there were spots where the water had frozen in… Continue
